1. General

The Services are intended for individuals aged 13 or older. If you are under 18, you must have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian to register and use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and agree to comply with the Terms.

Only one account per person or entity is allowed. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and ensuring no unauthorized access occurs.

2. Memberships and Payments

Renown operates as a Membership service. Your Membership renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled through your account settings before the renewal date.

Membership prices may be adjusted, and you will be notified in advance of any changes. The currency used is determined by your location and will be displayed during checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel any transaction deemed suspicious or unauthorized. In such cases, any charges made will be refunded.

Refunds may be requested within 14 days of payment, provided the Services have not been accessed during this time. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

3. Prohibited Activities

When using Renown, you agree not to engage in any activities that violate these Terms or applicable laws. Examples of prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Violating Swedish law or promoting illegal activities.
• Engaging in cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs to gain unfair advantages.
• Posting or transmitting illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content.
• Selling, transferring, or sharing accounts.
• Using the Services for unauthorized commercial gain or third-party benefits.
• Disrupting the platform’s operation or introducing harmful software.

These examples are not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any behavior that we deem harmful, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms or behavior deemed harmful to the platform or its users.

You may cancel your Membership at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access until your Membership expires.

5. Service Modifications and Availability

The Services may be modified, updated, or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or unforeseen technical issues. While we strive to minimize disruptions, we are not liable for any interruptions or delays.

We reserve the right to add or remove features at any time without prior notice.

6. Liability

Renown is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Our maximum liability to you will not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the six months preceding the claim.

The Services may include links to third-party websites or services. These are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites. By accessing third-party websites through our Services, you acknowledge that they operate independently of Renown, and we are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of such content.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renown AB, its affiliates, and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Services.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Any breach of your representations and warranties.
• Any violation of a third party’s rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

This obligation continues to apply after the termination of your Membership or use of the Services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Services, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, software, and designs, is the property of Renown AB or its licensors.

You may only use this content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of the content is strictly prohibited.

By uploading content to the platform, you retain ownership but grant us a license to use and display it as necessary to provide the Services.

9. Use of Customer’s Name

Renown reserves the right to use your name as a reference for marketing or promotional purposes, including on our website and in communications with existing or potential customers.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts. If you are an EU resident, you retain protections afforded by your local consumer protection laws.
